ParticipantI’ve had an interesting time buying bike gloves on ebay.
So, I bought a “large” pair for $2.59 with free shipping. It did take a few weeks to arrive. It turns out a “large” is only that by Asian standards. So, I splurged for an “extra large” for $3.24 with free shipping. It fits, but is a little tight. It seems that the “Great Guangzhou Bicycle Glove and Ramen Noodle Factory” needs a reality check regarding the size of the average ‘Merican.June 4, 2014 at 1:45 pm #1003284dasgeh

Do nice cycling caps with visors come in kids’ sizes?

The Pace coolmax cycling caps are really small (http://www.pacesportswear.com/coolmaxcyclingcaps.aspx). Too small for my 59cm head, but they fit my 3-year-old son. But that may be equivalent to what you just tried? (My son doesn’t have the smallest head.)

Different brand so likely the sizing is different? I may try, thanks. I often buy kids’ sunglasses since I find them less likely to fall off my face than adult ones, but I wouldn’t think my head is smaller than a 3-year-old’s. I wear a women’s small helmet w/ no problem.

Thre first two headsweats coolmax caps I ordered (redblack and blue/white) are loose on my medium sized head, even new the did not seem to be much stretch. I bought one of their TdF ones (in the fall when they were steeply discounted) and the elastic on it seemed tighter although the overall fabric sizing seems larger. I just got the Ride of Silence cap made by Mt Borah (same manufacturer as the Bike Arlington Jerseys). It will be interesting to see the DC Donut Crawl cap on Saturday, unfortunately, the http://dcdonutcrawl.com/post/87770632312/new-location-for-final-stop-in-dc-donut-crawl looks like cotton although I know Walz also does moisture wicking ones as well as wool. The Walz ones have two size choices.

ParticipantNot nearly as awesome as a new Surly but…
I wasn’t planning on buying another bike today but sometimes a deal comes by you can’t pass so now I own a Kona Hahanna (great name!) MTB. I was looking for something inexpensive for my son to ride with me on the tow path this summer and this thing was quite fun on the test ride so I might take it out on the trails myself and it certainly can be a snow bike. A steal, I think, at $125.

54cm. It feels much better than the 52 I rode. I’m just loving the Straggler!
