Thank you Bike Arlington for hosting Winter bike to work day. I rode to the Rosslyn pit stop and chatted with a friendly gentleman about his awesome recumbent. Thanks for the neck scarf, my daughter will love it.

It was our pleasure. We’ve been doing it since 2018 and wish the rest of the region would get on board. Had 200 ppl at our two stops today. Thanks to everyone who cam out.

Here’s a shot of the Gravelly Point stop.

I don’t make it out the door to ride as early as I used to when I had a commute. Thanks for motivating me to be on the bike early today!

Had a great time chatting with the BikeArlington folks and lots of friends this morning.

I arrived early enough to catch a photo of Henry improvising to tie down the tent from blowing away.

Yeah, the calendar said it was “Winter” Bike to Work Day, but with temperatures in the upper 50s???!!! The NOAA chart does not compute wind chills for temperatures above 50°F
