Does anyone else check for new thewashcycle.com posts compulsively throughout the day? Often, it’s a good distraction for me during the work day but he hasn’t posted since November 20th! He’s only allowed 3 days for Thanksgiving vacation, as defined by me just now. Looking forward to his return!
November 27, 2012 at 8:41 pm #956176DaveKParticipantNot to veer too much into stalking, but from reading the site, his family just added twins like 2 weeks ago. Give the man a break.
November 27, 2012 at 8:47 pm #956177FFX_HinterlandsParticipantI too keep checking Washcycle, but I’m cutting him a break. I have twins (now 8 years old) and I don’t really remember the first 3 months.
November 27, 2012 at 8:53 pm #956178btjParticipantYeah, I know… I was only partially serious (hence my dictated vacation rules). But I am looking forward to his return!

When I say I check thewashcycle.com, I am actually checking Google Reader along with all the rest of my feeds (too many feeds). Am I being creepy??

November 28, 2012 at 5:03 am #956210PotomacCyclistParticipantHe said that he worked 60 hrs. last week (Thanksgiving week) and he’ll probably work 60 hrs. this week too. So probably no WashCycle (posts) until next week, at the earliest.

Where’s the fun in that? I’ll be in my van if you need me. It says “free candy” on the side.
November 28, 2012 at 9:16 pm #956315Riley CaseyParticipantAs distinct from the creepiness factor of checking the WABA forum obsessively? 😮

That’s not a creepiness scale. That is the beguilement scale – as in obsessively avoiding work, school, home, family, food, doing anything constructive….
Oh look! Another post from Dirt that I have to read!!
November 28, 2012 at 11:19 pm #956323jopamoraParticipantYou could just read all the blogs he links to on the left. But it doesn’t matter now since he posted something new.
November 29, 2012 at 1:24 am #956326MM2ParticipantI too check the Wash Cycle compulsively a couple times a day, including at work. And I just saw the latest post.
Nothing else quite fills the broad role that Wash Cycle plays for the bike community, we are lucky to have it. I’ll take whatever frequency of posts he can make, with many thanks.
