So for what it’s worth a good friend of mine who works at WaPo said that the executive editor of the paper is pissed about this column. Might be worth sending email (martin.baron@washpost.com) or tweet (@PostBaron) to him to reinforce how terrible the column is.

It would have more meaning if they printed this in the paper edition, on the same page that Milloy’s column is found in the Metro section.

There was one positive thing about Milloy’s article: I had no idea that a bike escalator was being discussed for 15th Street bike lane north of V Street.

That bike elevator thing is absurd. As someone who frequently uses the hill in question, and frequently goes on a long detour to avoid it when pulling the kids, I absolutely do not want one public penny spent on a bike elevator. There are literally thousands of better ways to spend money.
