Nice to meet you dkel and Lena. Loved seeing eminva’s nice “new” bike, as well as the randoguy’s VO and that sweet Gunnar out there too! Thanks to GB and GuyContinental for the pulls back to Arlington as well – always a pleasure riding with polite and considerate trail users! Great turn out with dcv and hozn there as well.

Curiously, my body clock woke me up 5 mins before my alarm was set, so I guess my brain knew I wanted to attend.

Dickie, this is really a ruse to get you, DCV and vvill out to LFP CX with Hozn when it warms up. 5:15am departure from Courthouse, 6:15 at Tamarack Park, back to coffee (muddy and content) by ~7:30.

Indeed, it *was* polite and considerate to send GB ahead to probe the icy sections…

5:15am? hahahaha. I can barely get around a CX course in daylight, I’d require a MTB to even attempt LFP methinks.

I realized (too late) that I didn’t take any of the new bike! We were all getting too cold after 2 mins of bike gawking, and I had ski gloves on.

Awww, from Mclean you could probably leave at 5:30 and LFP is pretty easy unless we go down by the lake- absolutely nothing in common with a CX course though.

I had a great time seeing folks in person this morning! Definitely worth getting up 2 HOURS EARLY for this. I also found out that I know GB’s mother (I even danced with her at a square dance once! True story!).

It was last summer! At a CHURCH retreat! We only have wholesome activities on church retreats. The good thing about the church is they have pictorial directories dating back several years…I found a good pic of GB as a teen…

Is this on again for tomorrow? I need to know whether to drag out of bed early or not. It’s worth it to see all you fine folks; otherwise it’s just getting to work sooner rather than later.
