I’m just curious, does anyone have any personal experience with the Delta Airzound horn? It probably wouldn’t be welcome on the trails, but sounds like it could be effective when riding in traffic!

Friend of mine has one, and loud barely begins to describe it. Doesn’t nearly rival the yacht horn on my truck (145dB) but it’s more than enough to get their attention. That said, I would NOT use that to signal a pass on the trail, oh heck no! You’d terrify someone! Get a bell!

    (P.S. I totally want one)

I know someone that has one. They’re every bit as loud as a car horn.

Drawbacks he said are they don’t work as well when it’s really cold out and they don’t last for a lot of blasts.

I can think of a lot of W&OD joggers I’d like to use it on…. ya know the ones in the middle of the trail with earbuds in. :P
