In a recent conversation with Consular, he told me his plan is to depart the good ol’ US of A on June 16. The previous Thursday (not the third one) is June 11. Mark your calendar for our June “Third” Thursday Happy Hour on June 11.

Location TBD – I am working on a potential downtown location, which may help DC and MD friends to attend as well. Stay tuned.

Although I never make it to any happy hours, I did want to point out that a new restaurant/bar is opening on the Old Town waterfront as of Monday morning, June 8. The name is Blackwall Hitch, named after a temporary rope knot and a port in England. They have a location in Annapolis already.

The new restaurant is opening in the building that used to house the dumpy old food court, next to the Torpedo Factory and the Chart House restaurant. They have posted some photos of the renovated space on their Facebook page.
