I definitely like seeing other peoples bike room setups. My shop is the rec room in my basement. When I bought my townhouse several years ago, the realtor thought I was crazy because I almost always looked at the basement first. Needed room for bikes!

Bike storage:

Bench and tools:

Everything in its place!

Flat drawers with storage for small parts:

Have future plans (replace the floor with either tile or rubber, redo the trim and build more storage space) but its working well at the moment.

Lets see how everyone else sets theirs up!

Didn’t consider I “had a shop” at home, with just the 1 ebike up to now… But with my newly rediscovered, now freshly reconditioned vintage 1991 (?) Bianchi, I opted to pick up one of Steve’s wall racks to keep both bikes in the house… Of course, the ceiling fan is in the way — so I can’t go higher on the upper position, which means I can’t actually hang the ebike on the lower arms, either… But I’m happy to have the Bianchi up, so both bikes don’t have to take floor space!
(I had to use iPhone’s panorama, vertically, to get it all in frame — hence the tire’s distortion — my ‘breakfast nook’ space here is pretty snug, and I couldn’t step back far enough to get it in one shot.)
