We will be moving soon to the City of Alexandria, and I would live to stay active in bike advocacy (only did a bit with FABB, I didn’t get involved till last year, got sick for a while, and then started planning our move.)

The website shows no activities past June.

    How do I get involved?

Check with Jonathan Krall who is a Forum member. Maybe also with Chris_S.

There’s a Google Group (http://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/alexandriabpac) for the BPAC that serves as a hub for discussion, announcement of meetings, and sharing agendas, etc. There was a meeting 7/21. If you post to the Google Group that you’re interested in getting involved, I am sure you will be warmly welcomed.

I’d be happy to connect you with the folks heading up Kidical Mass Alexandria (they seem plugged in to larger ALX bike advocacy) – pm me your email address. :-)

Just to reiterate Casey Kane’s comment about following BPAC on Facebook. BPAC has recently started using Facebook more frequently and is posting upcoming events to the page.

BPAC meetings are held the third Monday of the month at the Durant Center on Cameron Street. The meeting does shift a day for Monday Federal Holidays so check the web site or Facebook page for updates.

Also, if you are a Meetup.com user, BPAC is transitioning its events calendar from Meetup.com to Facebook. So if you follow on Meetup make the transition to Facebook now.
