There are lots of missing BAFS teammates out there! I sent emails to team captains this morning with contact info (email addresses and Strava ID’s) for those who are missing.

I will be out of town this weekend enjoying some quality time with my mountain bike and will NOT be checking in on the forum or the BAFS team assignments email. (Not even remotely sorry.)

Monday I will work on starting the replacement cycle. We currently only have seven alternates waiting in the wings. So if more than seven do not show up by Monday morning, I may have to get creative.

Alright… After a last ditch effort (which I know I said I would not do, but I really do want to make as many people happy as possible), there are six new participants in BAFS2018!

Team 4 welcomes Jwetzel (replacing ToddMoses1)
Team 5 welcomes asloan7 (replacing bennypea)
Team 10 welcomes joan (replacing rachelwright)
Team 20 welcomes Jash264 (replacing jillminn)
Team 21 welcomes both lobsterpaws and wishiwasbiking (replacing washcaps77441 and wejrye)

There is another possible replacement happening on Team 5, but I am giving him a little extra time since he let me know he was going to be out of internet range and was having trouble locating his team page. This SHOULD get everyone up to 11 on their teams. I will keep an eye out for the remainder of the week, but if someone drops out, please let me know. Also, we are getting a bit low on alternates, so if you know someone who wants to play but will also not be hearbroken if they do not get on a team, please have them fill out the registration info.

If members of your team are not showing up on the leaderboard (there are several teams where this is the case), please have your team members re-authorize the Freezing Saddles app to read their Strava data.

That will most likely fix the issue. Sometimes it takes a few minutes after that is done to show up though, so please give it time.

Woohoo! All teams but two have every member on the leaderboard!

Team 17 (nagletom) and Team 18 (Lightgirrl)… You each have one member that has not ridden at all this year. And it is 17 days into the year! 😮

Have team captains spoke to those members? Are they responsive to emails/Strava group messages? Are there super extenuating circumstances? Do we need to talk about replacing them?
