I don’t know if these are common, but I thought this rig was pretty cool.

I’ve read about these, but don’t know anyone who’s ridden it. Did you get a test ride? What did you (or the owner) think?

    I don’t think he’d fit.

    Other than that, it’s boss.

I rode one of these at The Green Commuter in Takoma Park (they sell them) and didn’t really like it. Since it is a reverse trike, it handles pretty weirdly because you can’t lean the bike at all. I repeatedly got it up on two wheels and not always on purpose. The front part with the child seats can completely disconnect and become a stroller which is a big selling point for some people.

We test rode a Christiana trike in London, and had a similar experience. We decided that, with the hills are turns around here, we didn’t want 3 wheels.

Which reminds me, I believe Kidical Mass Arlington has seen every sort of bike set up except a Trike and a Madsen. There are 2 rides left this year. C’mon, people, I want Bingo!
