Also, if you’ll indulge me a small rant: the clip that holds the light to the handlebar bracket broke as I was taking the light off when I got to work! 😡 Now what am I supposed to do? The replacement bracket is $15! I think I’ll glue the clip back together, clip the light into it (while hoping that snapping the light in doesn’t break it again), and resort to unclamping the whole bracket from the bars when I need to charge the light. Stupid dingus.
Ok. Rant concluded.
That looks like it’s a Cygolite. If it is, you might try calling or emailing them and seeing if they will send a replacement free. They sent me replacement rubber covers for the usb port. Here’s the contact info:

Cygolite Spare PartsAnd FWIW, I switched to a helmet mount for mine found on ebay for about $10. I love the ability to point the light at cars the might not see me as the try and enter the road and equally the ability to aim the bright light away from on-coming cyclists on the trail. Added bonus: saves cockpit space!

I have one of those, and used it with a flashlight (which was terrible; I spent the dough on a real light very soon thereafter).
I would only use a flashlight mount with a flashlight. Flashlight are getting better and more durable recently.
You can tie the light on your helmet with a piece of inner tube.

I guess I just don’t need that much real-estate. 2 lights, garmin and a coffee mug holder and I’ve still got virtually the entire right side of my bars available for what-ever. Problem is…. I can’t think of anything else I want to add to my bars. Maybe another coffee mug holder!
It probably helps that your bars appear to be about 70 cm wide (give or take).

Like Pete, I use the Exposure light and mount it beneath the bar to allow me to use the tops close to the stem. I keep the light on a lanyard just in case. Front brake on the right.
No data.
