No light here, but it’s to the left of the GPS when I have it on. (Ignore the glove on the right – nothing under there.)

    Light. Bell.

That’s all I need 99% of the time, though sometimes I could use a clock, since I don’t wear a watch.

Also, if you’ll indulge me a small rant: the clip that holds the light to the handlebar bracket broke as I was taking the light off when I got to work! 😡 Now what am I supposed to do? The replacement bracket is $15! I think I’ll glue the clip back together, clip the light into it (while hoping that snapping the light in doesn’t break it again), and resort to unclamping the whole bracket from the bars when I need to charge the light. Stupid dingus.

    Ok. Rant concluded. :)

Good luck with that. I have never ever ever ever had success trying to glue a broken bike thingy. It might work for about a day, or maybe a week. But I totally hear you about the ridiculous $15 for a 29 cent piece of plastic. Time to hone your McGyver skills. (Did I say “never ever ever ever?” I meant “never ever ever ever ever.”)

Those will probably come in handy tonight and tomorrow morning … sigh.

    That’s what I fear.

I can’t wait for 3D printing to get cheaper.

Bicycle mounts for flashlights cost about $1 on Ebay. Just saying…

Mine doesn’t fit there very well. It bends up the cage a lot. :D

Maybe a slightly smaller coffee mug. Yeah, but it doesn’t give the same caffiene jolt, does it? Maybe brewing an extremely strong cafe Americano (or a quintupal espresso?) instead of that that insipid drip stuff?

My handlebar coffee mug holder seems to work pretty well. :D

But it takes up so much real estate. :D

I have one of those, and used it with a flashlight (which was terrible; I spent the dough on a real light very soon thereafter). The problem is that the opening is round, and my light isn’t. I might be able to come up with some packing for it, though. Tonight I’m going to try a rubber band around the back end of the light, as a stop to keep it from sliding out of the bracket. I have high hopes for it (and I always favor a MacGyver solution anyway: very pro).

I guess I just don’t need that much real-estate. 2 lights, garmin and a coffee mug holder and I’ve still got virtually the entire right side of my bars available for what-ever. Problem is…. I can’t think of anything else I want to add to my bars. Maybe another coffee mug holder!
