ParticipantI’d prefer the Thursday the 10th. Might as well stay late (happy 4+ hours), and I’d rather do that on a Thursday than a Monday.

I agree with Josh that Thursday would be preferable.

ParticipantMonday is orchestra rehearsal, so definitely Thursday for me.

You could always have orchestra practice at happy hour. I’m requesting Ave Maria.

Aside from the fact that we don’t take requests during rehearsal, the number and height of the logistical hurdles of such a combined event boggles the mind.
On the other hand, a group ride to our January and/or March concerts would be an excellent FS social activity.

And the trombone players would just cause all sorts of troubles.

I doubt Bier Barron will have it, but it sounds good.

The Brikskellar would have had it on the menu, but been out of it when you asked

Nice. I might do a pre-FS to the show on 12/15.

ParticipantHi everyone…
This is to confirm that our Freezing Saddles welcome celebration will be held on Thursday, 10 January 2019 from 6 pm onward at the Bier Baron near Dupont Circle/Foggy Bottom. Details to follow.
The event will be open to all winter riders regardless of whether you are competing in Freezing Saddles…the more the merrier. Please mark your calendars.
(Let’s wait ‘til December to start the RSVP list… November feels too early!)
Looking forward.w&w
