Right where the Custis Trail/sidewalk crosses N Fort Meyer Drive, on the east side by the stoplight, a foot-wide gash in the sidewalk has appeared, and it’s filled with big, loose gravel. Really tough on skinny tires!!

Any word on how long it’ll be there? Anyone else run into this?

Wow, I don’t know if it’s causation or correlation, but the gash is paved over! Thanks a million.

The permanent fix is in the works. The north side of the trail was fixed last night and still drying this morning. The south side will be done in a few days, I’d guess. Should be back to normal ASAP.

Grand Canyon is no more… at least not the one in Rosslyn.

Oy. About time. Really poor construction site management over that way, of late.

Someone moved the cones off to the side on Friday afternoon. They’re still there, but not in the middle of the path.
