    Reposting from my Facebook page;

    It is with extreme sadness that I share the news of the passing of Homer Ailstock. I learned from family members that he died while undergoing a heart procedure related to complications from surgery he had last Fall. He was a true South Arlington/Bike DC legend, whether you knew him as a cyclist, artist, neighbor, or the man who ran the ceramics center at the TJ Community Center. Regardless, he was one of the nicest, gentlest, and most creative people I knew. He was loved and will be sorely missed.

    A celebration of life is being planned and I will share details when I have them.
