Returning from the Other Washington for a Visit – Part 2

Hey all, I will be returning to the DC area for a couple of days in October, and I’m looking to join up with some bike peeps in my hometown!

Just like my last visit, I will be flying in on a red-eye Wednesday night/Thursday morning, and I will be arriving early morning Thursday, October 18, and flying out in the afternoon on Tuesday, October 23.

So, what is going on in the biking world during those days? I am up for attending a Third Thursday (totally didn’t plan that but hey, I’ll take it!) happy hour and a coffee club or pancake club among other things, and I want to do some riding around town (gotta see these fancy new PROTECTED bike lanes on Quincy St!).

Well, I think on Sunday you should totally come out to spectate (or RACE!) at DCCX! I know a bunch of your lovely bike peeps will be there all day! 😎

I’m good with that if it works for everyone that would like to come. For folks in DC/MD, there’s the option of using Metro to make the return trip easier (just because I’m on vacation doesn’t mean others are).
