Renting a recumbent bike in the DC area?

Hi all,

I have a senior relative (if I call her geriatric she’ll whup me….) visiting for a few weeks and she has recently discovered the joy of riding a recumbent bike. Is there a shop in this area that rents recumbents? Failing that, is there any other way for someone to enjoy one for a couple of weeks other than by purchasing one?

I would try Bikes@Vienna (https://www.bikesatvienna.com/). They don’t do rentals, but she could always do some “test rides”. Maybe they have a used bike they would be more lenient with. As a bonus, they are just a couple blocks from the W&OD.
