There is a typo in the thread title. Yes you can fix it, click on Edit post, then immediately click Advanced, and from there you can change the title.

Fixed! And thanks for the tip. I saw the typo in the title after I posted, but I had assumed there was no way for me to fix it.

Thanks, bikesnick! It was great seeing you and so many other forum friends on the ride. I was amazed at the number of people who came out despite the heat and humidity, and impressed by how chill everyone was during the breaks when we were waiting to regroup. I also enjoyed the two random friendly encounters we had on the ride:

• As we were biking north on Commonwealth Avenue past Cora Kelly School, an Alexandria PD cruiser was coming the other way. The officer got on his PA system and said, “Good morning, and have a great ride.”
• As we were gathering in front of T.C. Williams High School, a man living in a house across the street came out on his porch and invited us to come over if we needed a pit stop.

Also, while we were regrouping at Tennesee Ave and Old Dominion Blvd, a woman walking her dog told us the house on N Overlook Dr was used as a hospital during the Civil War and some other interesting facts about the church.
