I started out for a nice little lunch ride and before I could get out of the garage, I felt a bit of rubbing on my rear tire. As I slowed to check it out, BAM! I thought I blew out a tire, but upon getting back, it was the rim that had blown out. That’s what you get for buying a 10 yr old bike off craigslist. Anyone have any spare 9 speed 26″ rear wheels they’d want to part with, or am I making a last minute trip to Phoenix Bikes tonight (hopefully not by bus).

I have a 22 year old 26″ wheel 19″ frame mountain bike I’d sell ya’, even comes with both a rigid and suspension forks.

Yep! I saw the paint scheme and thought I recognized it at the previous FCC but didn’t have a chance to check it out ’til today. He says he loves it and it’s the perfect commuter. I didn’t lift it see how heavy it was though.
