Ah, nice! I am still waiting for mine — it’s what I get for ordering the black one.
I ordered a black one too. It’ll be here soon.

What bell is this?! Feel as though I’ve seen it before, was it a startup thing several months back?

ParticipantGot a flexible camera mount for my ContourROAM camera, so I took a trip from Ballston to Alexandria and across the Wilson Bridge to National Harbor. First video in a while, since all my awesome snow and ice biking footage was lost when my video card had to be replaced (they reset the hard drive and I hadn’t backed up my laptop in over a month). Changed my back-up schedule from once-a-month (if I remembered) to every 2 weeks (with a calendar reminder). But anyway, the video:

I plan to play around more with camera placement, as I’ve tested it so far on the head tube and parts of my rear bike baskets (since they fold out, I can get wider angles).

I went to go get some rolls from Best Buns, but didn’t make it back home before 11am, so I had my daily standup meeting in Arlington today.

Even with all this crap, the brakes worked and shifters shifted.

Today I discovered how Rockville plans on repelling the pending invasion of White Walkers. This mountain of plowed snow will take at least a month to melt. WINTER IS HERE. #gameofsnows

This pile is at the far north end of Seven Locks road and blocks a cut-through trail to Falls Road that is part of my daily route…at least it was. The detour to Wootton and back is the only option beyond treking around the pile, over a stream, and through tangles of branches and vines (which is what my foolish a** did this morning).

That’s great! I had emailed the Rockville bike coordinator guy — contact info below — about this and he said they probably couldn’t do anything about it this time but would talk to the right folks about preventing it from happening again. Great to see they cleared it this week! I checked on Sunday and it was still there. Thanks for the update.
UPDATE: Kevin said the MoCo was responsible for this but that he found the right person there to take care of it. Yay, good government!
