Was only able to buy those (the CX model) because they were on sale on the site (50% off) and because they had a size “S”. I really should be wearing a size “M”
Oh, no, it’s waaay more ELITE to wear your knickers a size small!

Especially such an ELITE brand?

An Italian brand! I shudder to think what I would look like in a Italian size small, only way it could be worse would be if it were a Lululemon line (tight AND seethrough)

Nice, indeed.
I also thought Tron. Reflective stuff is one of the great things in bike photos!

Rapha is British, but I get the impression their stuff fits just like Italian brands. My Italian stuff I have to go up to 2XL in jerseys, where I usually wear a Large in PI/LG/Endura.

I do balance out all the ELITE-ness of my Rapha knickers by wearing ratty old paint-stained tshirts and cotton knickers with holes in the rear on my daily commute. However, I suppose that may be Hobo Elite
But FWIW, the chamois on those Rapha knickers is oh-so-f’in-nice

Sorry, that’s Hipster ELITE. Time to peel some gears and brakes off your bike.

ParticipantDusted off the CAAD…haven’t ridden it since I got my R3. It’s like an old sports car; fast, nimble, and a blast to ride, but you feel every bump of the road all the way into your bones. But it’s a great bike for long, fast rides to and from work, since I can leave it on the rack at work without worrying too much about it getting knocked over or whatever.

For some reason forums don’t want to render a twitter image directly…have to save locally as attachment.

So is this like when the cops pull over a tricked out pickup truck, that has been jacked way up on its suspension….. and they pull out the yard stick to see whether the pickup truck is jacked up too far off the ground to be road legal? Did they test whether your monster is road legal????
