Garden hose with a very, very light spray followed by chain cleaning and lube. Bike actually looks pretty shiny and clean again this morning.

A funny aside was that much of that mud on the bike was FROZEN mud and it just kind of flaked off. Also makes me really appreciate that the Viaje has full cable housing on the brakes and shifters.

After reading about Tysons bike routes on the forum, I thought I’d give it a try. I rode my old Trek from Falls Church up Gallows, through Gallows Branch Rd to the Rte 7 overpass on Towers Crescent Dr, past Tysons I on Shoptysons Blvd, and out to Tysons II by way of Westpark (does anyone still call the Galleria Tysons II?). My only problem was not knowing of any bike racks at Tysons II. Other than that, it was an easy and fun ride.
