    Had a fun mountain ride this AM in Lake Fairfax park. The snow was deep in places but a lot of it was nicely packed and fast. But you had to watch your line or the bike would quickly slide out (as happened to me a few times).

    So Difficult Run wasn’t really crossable.

    But luckily 267 crosses difficult run so we didn’t have to go all the way back through the park.

    This morning the cross bike was a challenge to control with one hand while photographing.

    Changing to the fat bike for the afternoon commute definitely made dealing with the conditions much, much easier.

    The WABA bike ambassadors were out at the Minnesota Ave. Metro station last night getting signatures for the Suitland Parkway petition. We went in to the library to warm up a bit. The sunset was lovely.
