Lovely day, as long as you can ignore the blistering cold.
Portions of the MVT near the CSX bridge were pretty clear. About 3 pm this afternoon.
Down near Gravelly Point it turned to packed snow
The sound of the crunching of the ice and snow beneath my tires reminded me of “Ice Road Truckers” except none of them were driving convertibles.

Perhaps the smallest house in Alexandria? Looks like an alleyway fill in to me.

That’s exactly what it is. Called the Spite House, because the builder wanted to keep carriages out of the alleyway adjacent to his existing house.
The current owner has a matching blue Smart car that he parks out front.
I love the Spite House! It’s seven feet wide.
