    Down in New Orleans for the weekend, trying to keep up with my little brother and his friends for his 30th birthday celebration. I had an extra day on Monday (cheaper flights), so I borrowed a bike from a friend and went exploring.

    Was very odd riding around the mall early on the 4th. got inside the security zone just as it opened and it looked like an end of the world movie set for a little while. All the monuments and many classic sightlines with no people in them.
