Not sure I’ve seen this bike before, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Very jealous.
Thanks Dave, I bought it new it 2005 and only now is she showing signs of age… small hairline crack in the bottom bracket shell is certain to grow over the coming year, but I do love this bike. Really fun to ride. I’ll have to retire her soon sadly… time to start saving for my dream Infinito CV.
Learned the hard way that it’s tough for me to go bike shop shopping on my round-about commute because they all open after 11am! gah! I’m going to have to start commuting after work as well.
-3 HC climbs (Col du Telegraph, Col du Galibier, Alpe d’Huez)
-13k+ feet of climbing
-high temp was ~63ish, low temp was ~30ish
-got rained on, but it turned to snow after I climbed some more
-got passed by a Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari 612, Lamborghini Diablo, and two (!) McLaren MP4-12Cs
-it was so cold at the top of Col du Galibier–and snowing, of course–that I skipped the 25 mile descent and rode down with the wife to the bottom of Alpe d’Huez.
