They didn’t have habitat in this area when it was farm country; the lack of predators is the big factor, including hunters.

If you didn’t do the 13 mile option at the Patuxent Rural Legacy Ride today, you missed out on a couple miles of dirt road and this nice wooden bridge.

Anyone know what happens to these yarn “bombs” after a couple of weeks in the weather? Are they just left to rot away or do the creators take them away before they get icky? I’m totally cool with the idea if it’s the latter.

I’ve always seen photos of them when they are first put up but have often wondered what happens after the photographers are gone. I don’t think I’ve seen one in person.

I need to restart my conversation with you on a Hains Point Pedal Wrench Fixie Party. I hate my rear derailleur and want it to go away. I still can’t buy another bike until we buy a bigger house, but I can at least plan…
