Audubon Park has a little bit of dirt. Mostly used by pedestrians, but there are a few of us who ride on it

A ride from March 27, 2020. the second Friday of NYC’s Corona stay-at-home (but solo exercise). This starts at my apartment building in Yorkville and goes down 2nd Ave to Kips Bay (E 33rd St). We looked at an apartment in the building complex at the end of the video.

Rode out to Columbia Island to see the flyby. Interesting that the Park Police had the lot at Gravelly Point blocked off but seemed cool (maybe just resigned) to people pulling off the GWMP onto the grass.

They did their NYC flyby earlier in the week. I was riding in Central Park at the time and couldn’t see them on either their Hudson River or East River passes.

The NYC 5 Boro Bike Tour was supposed to be today, but it has been postponed (new date undetermined), so I went out and rode my own version. My faux version was sort of in the opposite direction since I couldn’t ride the Verranzano Narrows Bridge, (I took the Staten Island Ferry both ways), and I didn’t want to walk my bike the length of the Triborough (RFK) Bridge sidepath.
