If I may ask, how did you take the shot? A lot of times I find the “how” just as cool. For example, I just watched this last night and appreciated what the videographers had to do (shown at the end):
I picked up this skewer mount from Amazon!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EFUGNWK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1It’s really well made, and didn’t slip at all! I wish they made a through axle style mount- that angle would be fun on the mountain bike…

Thanks for the tip. It looks slick!

ParticipantThe Spring edition of Maryland DNR’s print magazine just came out and I had a few pics in it (1 of me, 3 by me), including the cover

ParticipantThose who are advocating a continued war on cars seem to be getting bolder (or maybe boulder)

The numbers needed are all right there, yet somehow it seems pointless. Important folks have important work to do and can’t be bothered with using open parking spaces right next to where they sit in the roadway. For all I know, it’s company policy to idle in the roadway for security reasons.

ParticipantI finished a new video last night of the snow that we got on Pi Day this year!
The video shows a lunch ride I did where there were some flurries which was nice to bike through. It also shows an evening ride I did with my trailer to go shovel snow where I encountered LSG on the way and met up with komorebi. The video should be short and sweet; enjoy!

ParticipantSo a friend offered $20 to the first person to get over a series of 4 logs on a new trail he made last weekend at Rosaryville State Park (he’s the trail liaison). I was running short on time, so I took a shortcut to it, not getting many miles in the process. It was hard because the space between the logs was just a few inches longer than the length of my bike, not really allowing me to spool up for the subsequent log (especially the second one). As you can see, the solution was to ride like Tigger

Good job, but how’d you hide the pogo stick in your bike? :p

ParticipantDid a chill ride with my wife at Fairland until we saw a logpile that was talking smack. I had to do battle with him to save face in front of m’lady

ParticipantExtremely proud of my wife and two of her friends, who set up and ran a successful second MORE Womens Mountain Bike Day at Lake Accotink today. 91+ ladies registered, attending skills and tech clinics then going for different levels of rides. It was chilly, but the trails held up fine to the previous days’ rains.
