The Bicycle Escape in Frederick, MD. They’ve been a Jones dealer for at least the last 8 years when 3 friends and I bought ours from there

It’s been a bad month for biking, really gloomy weather and a cold knocked me out for over two weeks. I took advantage of today’s sun and rode Pugsley to lunch with my wife and then up through Oberursel to Römerkasell Saalburg in the Taunus and then back via Bad Homberg.

No snow yet but heavy frost in the afternoon.

The Roman fort is a reconstruction about 14 miles from my apartment. This is at least the 5th time I’ve ridden by, but I’m waiting to go inside until we have visitors (kayakcydi?).

I think I may finally have gotten enough lights on my bicycle to make it visible even to Bethesda drivers (and this doesn’t even show all the reflectors).

I believe that body of water to the west of the GWMP near DCA is called Roaches Run. It would be in your immediate sightline from this location between you and the Washington Monument.
