[snip]Hey! You guys are stalking me! I live just around the corner and climb that lovely little hill first thing every morning on my commute to work. Nice isn’t it? It does get the blood flowing…

ParticipantThe trails may have cleared up but the Potomac River and the Tidal Basin were still frozen over this morning.

The Canada geese like hanging out in the middle of the frozen Tidal Basin. At least the air temperature wasn’t too bad today.

My stalking has yet to provide a confirmed sighting. I think that you may be a myth.

ParticipantA few hours later and all the ice is gone from the Potomac River. At least the area next to the 14th St. Bridge.

No comment. And don’t speak about my existence to the omnipotent Busters Leader, Steve O. He will also deny my existence.

ParticipantThe inevitable flat tire on tonight’s ride. Interestingly, the person who stopped first to help me was a runner, as the cyclists all whizzed by, except for the one who gave me a shot from his CO2 cartridge.

ParticipantDespite the moderate temperatures this week, the Tidal Basin still manages to find a way to stay (mostly) frozen. The geese are still hanging out on the ice too. They really do like it there.

A friend did a little photoshop work on another shot from that set above. This one might go on the wall. -
