Not my ride but someone in Montana is training for freezing saddles.

So I only took one photo, on the recent 200K. The weather was 30’s-40’s with light to moderate rain ALL day. Thus, I was hesitant to take my camera out to snap a photo of the wet, greyness in which I was surrounded. With respect to scenery there wasn’t a single thing that didn’t remind me of miserableness.

But this, I just had to pull over to immortalize…

I may have to submit this to unintentionally funny church signs or something.

Got another Metro line complete. This time it’s the Green line, and after having done the Orange, Yellow, Red, and Blue lines, all that remains is the Silver line. I plan to ride to all the Phase I and Phase II stations (even if they’re not built yet).

The day was cold and windy (wind chill around freezing), so having proper winter gear was a necessity. I only got beeped at once (not shown in the video, I was in a bike lane that someone wanted to cross in order to access an off-ramp), so it wasn’t too bad.

Wow! So is the trail the bit with the rocks, or do you get to ride in the space between the rocks… somewhere?

Close! Frederick Watershed, just to the north.

Rode in California’s Santa Rosa Plateau for a bit today, on a strangely bouncy bike.

The Washington Monument was similarly shrouded last night. I almost stopped to take a picture. The AF Memorial looks even cooler in that fog, though.

The river was gorgeous this morning. Fog just over the water, making it look like a river of steam/mist.
