ParticipantThis morning, I was 271 at the Rosslyn Counter — higher than on my return last night. — Whoops, meant for the morning commute thread.

ParticipantCool picture.
And what pants are you wearing in that picture? I need to upgrade… thinking of Showers Pass, but open to suggestions.
Signing off as a soft cold hating Southern European… 😮

Thanks. Yeah artsy pics.
That is a combo of Nashbar winter bib tights and a light weight knicker. I generally don’t do “pants” as much as knickers w/ leg warmers or this one pair of full length tights. But also have the benefit of a long ride and a shower at work so I don’t have to worry about wearing what I ride in all day.
Up top (not that you asked) I had a cheap target brand baselayer, a cheap ebay purchased wool jersey, and a Hincapie wind jacket that holds in both heat and sweat very well. That was probably one base layer too many but my winter layering game is still rusty.

So am I supposed to “like” this post, to support my fellow riders who are documenting bad behavior? Or dislike it because of the bad behavior itself? I’m so confused.

I’m confused by the lack of Maryland plates.

ParticipantI am wondering if someone in the forum could design a parking-ticket-but-not-parking ticket flier that we could all use in common, print off, and put on the windshields of cars like this. A very positive WABA esk, Dirt esk, flier that explains that the car is parked in a bike lane, why this is dangerous, and why bike lanes are important.
In the rescue dog business we have such fliers for dogs locked in cars. Admittedly, if we see a dog locked in a car on anything remotely of a warm day, the first thing is a call to the police. But otherwise there are fliers that say “please dont leave your dog in a locked car” explaining how hot a car can get in minutes.
Maybe someone could make up something like that, and we could all start using it?

ParticipantI recall bike lane tickets going over pretty poorly, or were those ‘you’re an a$$ driver’ tickets?
