Yesterday, Rockford10 and I rode the Keezletown loop outside Harrisonburg, at the recommendation of one of the guys from Shenandoah Bicycle Company. It was a beautiful ride (not the best pic, though).

This morning, I went out on a group ride with some folks from Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, and had a blast (no pics, unfortunately—I was just trying to keep up!). Fantastic bunch of riders!
Had a great weekend. Started by riding from milton de to cape may for our 8th anniversary.
We went to the light house in cape may
This must be a jersey thing
I forget the name of the winery
I posted elsewhere (the August Trail Conditions page) about the reconstruction of the 12th St trail connector between S Quincy St and George Mason Dr. Pictures from today:

The 3rd picture: I should amend myself- not totally closed- there *is* a temporary gravel bypass that drops you into the Doctors’ Run Park playground. Memo to BikeArlington- any word on when this will be finished?
And one more for the road, on this Labor Day: Joe Durel, Park Ranger at the Bluemont Caboose on the W&OD, on their last day of the season.
For those who remember, this is the caboose manned for many years by Sedge Moss (and for those who go back even further, Sedge was a PPTC’er, and serious cyclist).
Is Sedge Moss the guy who was retired and could talk a blue streak? A real rail road buff. Knew so much about the history of the area. Met him about three years ago at the caboose. I hope he hasn’t passed away!
