You may want to contact Henry to see about adding a link to the calendar to the sticky he is developing.

We all know that Freezing Saddles always ends on my birthday and that the purpose of the whole event is to have a 2.5 month celebration of my birth.

Except when it’s not. In 2020, spring starts on March 19 at 11:49 P.M. EDT

Yes, this has been noted before. Whether or not Freezing Saddles will survive this anomaly is an open question.
For historians, in 2016, FS was 79 days long because of the leap year; we ended on March 19, since it was still the last full day of winter.

I’m not voting on the poll since I don’t like the answers. The obvious reply is “look for the crazy person riding in the snow”.

Velcro reflective bands were the clear winner in the poll, so that’s what I went with. Hopefully they’ll be here in time for the HP100.

However, because drevil’s suggestion of lime-green wigs was both funny and inspiring, I’ll offer a pointless prize for any FS2019 team that posts a photo of six or more team members wearing green wigs. Creative interpretation of “wigs” is encouraged: photoshopping, yarn bombing, buying up the remaining stock of FS zipper pulls and making a wig, raiding Katy Perry’s stash of green hairdye, etc.

Ack! W&W’s condition is contagious; disregard the dislike.

I like slap bands, never had one with LEDs, may be good for the winter when the light is often low

I’m having trouble registering for freezing saddles. Can’t find the submit button at the end of the form. Any one have suggestions? I brought out my bike gloves and bright jacket this morning on the bike to work. (: Started noticing the other cyclists and got super excited for freezing saddles!

Are we giving extra points for those who ride with merkins exposed when it is under 32 degrees out, or are we handing out Darwin awards to those individuals, instead?

Are we giving out a prize for those wearing their reflective lime green merkins so we can all see them when it is below 32 degrees, or are we just letting natural selection weed them out from the gene pool?

Are we giving out a special prize for those wearing reflective lime green merkins (so that they’re visible) when it’s below 32 degrees, or are we letting natural selection sort those people out from the gene pool?
