Phoenix Derby a Success! Thank You!

Wanted to get out an early blanket Thank You to everyone who attended, rode in, volunteered at, or sponsored the Crystal City Phoenix Derby on Saturday. We had a smoothly run event with hundreds of spectators and scores of riders. I know all the kids from our program had a blast. It also was our biggest fundraiser in our history, grossing just over $62,000.

A Big Thanks goes to Angela Fox, Joe Petty, and Rob Mandle at the Crystal City BID for envisioning this event and putting their faith in our organization to help pull it off.

Looking forward to the next one.

There were at least a couple official-lookin’ photographers with massive zoom lenses. There should be more photos available online in the coming days, I hope. Many others were also taking pictures with their smartphones. I haven’t found too many of those yet.
