I got a letter from the secretary of the Maryland Governor yesterday commending me (us) for the petition. He told me to speak with the representatives in that county so I sent them an email.

I think you should write back to Jim Smith and call him on that letter. If the Wilson Bridge bike lane getting done was a required part of Prince George’s County’s transportation priorities, it would never have been done. It’s like him redirecting someone to Baltimore City to talk about the Harbor Tunnel in Baltimore. Typically it is something bounced to local levels, but at an interstate junction of a major thoroughfare that nearly straddles three different jurisdictions? Don’t let them off so easy!

Anyway, I will sign. Ditto on others comments about improving VA side. Maybe our new Governor will do something. Somehow, I doubt it, since NOVA always seems to get ignored.
