Thanks everyone for your great responses on my 100th century (For those who may have missed it on Facebook, this will be the 100th time I’ve ridden 100 miles, and I’d love to have you join me). The people have spoken and it looks like we’ll be riding the C&O on March 1st. Here are the details.
Please chime in in the comments if you want to go!
- We’ll start at 8am on March 1st
- We’ll meet in the Key Memorial Park on the DC side of the Key Bridge
- We’ll ride from The Key Bridge to Point of Rocks, MD and back.
- We’ll stop at Great Falls, White’s Ferry Grill and Point of Rocks on the way out for breaks (plus anyplace that we feel like just relaxing)
- Please bring snacks, water and plenty of warm clothes.
- Pace is no drop, so anyone who wants to ride 100 miles, we’ll make sure to keep you on board.
- Haven’t ridden the C&O before? No problem, mention it in the comments and I’ll make sure you get the scoop. Trust me, it’s fun!
