The Friends of the Mt. Vernon Trail held an invasive vine removal event today that was extremely well attended.
I went, along with more than 40 other volunteers.

Final count was 49 volunteers which included someone who was riding by and asked if he could help.

The Friends of Mount Vernon Trail has weekly volunteer opportunities which are posted at mountvernontrail.org/events

I volunteered at a trail edging and ivy removal event this morning for the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail, where I spotted the Forum’s own Grand High Potentate. Some photos from the event:
