Need Help! How to upload HEIC files from my phone…

The forum won’t allow me to upload photos from my iPhone since they are HEIC files.  How do I resolve this?

Hi Sophie! I’m new to iphones- can you turn off the “live photo” feature AND/OR also take a screenshot of your pic and upload the screenshot??

Can also change the default on the iPhone to save as a .jpg.  I’d had to do that for several online groups that can’t handle HEIC

How to switch from HEIF to JPEG photos on iPhone

1. Open the Camera section in the Settings app

2. Under Formats, select “Most Compatible” instead of “High Efficiency”

3. Take a new photo or video, and it’ll be saved as a JPEG or MPEG file instead of HEIF/HEVC
