ParticipantMaybe in honor of occasion they can the APD to ticket the double-parking food delivery drivers who habitually block the Crystal Dr. bike lanes.

ParticipantShow up all five days and get a chance to win an e-bike? Sheesh – a raffle entry is quite a step down from a jersey

I assume no jerseys because no Crystal Ride?
Is it heresy to say the best BTWW swag was the National Landing jacket?
Anyway, the best part of BTWW is still seeing friends – and free coffee and food, of course. I assume the latter will still be part of it?

ParticipantThanks, Steve, for posting. I wandered up that way not long ago and was a little disappointed not to see lots of BTWD/BTWW signage around the old Crystal City site. I’m glad to hear that for the most part it’s just been moved.

ParticipantRegarding food, there were bananas today. I expect the bananas are likely from Amazon, as there also was a Community Banana Stand set up a little further south on Crystal Drive.

There was also coffee, almond croissants, and coffee cake at around 7:15. I saw them bring extra coffee around 8.

ParticipantThe bananas were from Amazon. One of the guys had the Amazon Bananista shirt on today. The event is scaled down a lot from prior years, but still nice to see everyone.

ParticipantIn 2023, Bike to Work Week is May 15-21, with Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 19, 2023. I’ve seen announcements for Bike to Work Day events, but none yet for Bike to Work Week.

ParticipantIt does not look like National Landing is doing Bike to Work Week 2023. All of the information on their site (https://nationallanding.org/) is from 2022 or earlier.

ParticipantMy understanding is that the BID is taking the resources previously put into Bike to Work Week & doing a number of bike-related events throughout Bike Month instead including an organized ride and an end of month happy hour.
