First accident wrenching in a while. Loosening a crank bolt… wrench slipped. result: broken finger and 4 really lovely stitches.

Answering the “Which finger” with very little tact.

Oh no! Heal fast but shouldn’t the finger at least be buddy taped or splinted?

It is actually taped and splinted. The splint is on the underside.

I didn’t think of riding a bicycle in the snow but that bicycle sure looks like it could handle it I saw one in a Bicycle store in DC off of 14th street Nw.

Doc knows I’m riding. I brake with my other fingers. The two emergency stops that I’ve had to make have gone very well… just as well as if I was riding with 10 functioning fingers.
