This LFL was established in memory of Mary Ann Nagley as stated by the plaque on the backside of the library — photo of the plaque in my Strava for today. The LFL was located in the Lakeport neighborhood where Ms. Nagley lived.

The Mount Calvary Baptist Church historical church was founded in 1870 in Fairfax City by freed slaves who thought first to build a place of worship before attending to their own needs. This marker indicates that this location (the stream is behind the trees and runs along the multi-use trail) was used regularly for baptism until the 1930s.
