Does anyone have the Monkey Light Pro lights – or know someone else who does? These are the ones that can display entire videos on your wheel ($900 per wheel). I would love to get a demo for the May 1st Bike Hack Night I’m organizing.

Whoa. But that’s like not getting two new bikes… :P

Surely in the six years since I last asked, someone in the DC/Arlington area has purchased the Monkey Light Pro? Or any other bike lights that involves programming for custom displays? Looking for a fun demo for the next Bike Hack Night (Transportation Techies meetup).

If you are doing a demo like that I would approach the ML people with a sales proposal. Here are a couple of ideas:
    1) Free set of ML for you to borrow and you get paid commission on any sales as a result
    2) Reduced price set for you if you promise to demo them at y events (it would be easy if you count bigger group rides, etc).
    3) Fractional cost set of ML for you as long as you spur x number of sales. If you don’t meet your quota then you pay off the balance to them for a reduced cost set.

Mention that you can give them product feedback which would be valuable to improving their products, etc.
