ParticipantTo the lady at 15th and L, straddling the cycletrack while in the turn lane, moving your van with both hands and eyes on your phone….umm yeah. That is all that needs to be said.

That dude ran me off the trail a couple of months ago. He’s completely oblivious and usually inebriated.
What time is this guy on the trails?

By the way, dude doing pushups in the middle of the trail yesterday – yes, I did call you a needledick for blocking everyone. I don’t think yelling “come back here and fight me” is a great retort when I’m pushing 20mph in the opposite direction.
Wow. In what world would anyone feel that is a good idea? Maybe a 6 year old kid, but otherwise…

ParticipantYou: Lovely couple riding south towards Gravelly Point. Lady was passing other cyclists who were passing peds, all without a call. When the couple got together, they rode abreast using both lanes.
I might have been willing to overlook this behavior at dawn, but at 4 pm on a pleasant day, the trail is full of people.

ParticipantTo the guy salmoning down Georgia Avenue, turning left to salmon down East-West Highway (at the corner with the construction site that has taken out both the sidewalk and one travel lane on each street):
May I suggest a WABA Confident City Cycling class?

Ping: Random guy on the wrong side of the yellow line coming at me around the blind curve under the Sycamore Street overpass yesterday evening.
You know.
Based on the the date it wasn’t me, but I have to admit to doing something similar while in endorphin-induced la-la land on Friday. Sorry about that, random guy with the terrified look on his face.

ParticipantOkay guy, if you’re going to ride 9mph across the Roosevelt Bridge, I can live with that, but please pull your shorts up and/or wear a longer shirt. If I have to spend twice as much time crossing the bridge as usual, I don’t want to have your asscrack hanging out right in front of me the whole time.
And to the guy to whom I didn’t give much room to pass on the aforementioned bridge, I’m sorry I didn’t see you until it was almost too late as I was using my cycling cap to shield my eyes from that dude’s buttcrack.

1445 posts and this is the first asscrack complaint? That took longer than I thought.

Not really. Dickie began a discussion at post 61 with an arse crack comment that then included a transparent (worn) shorts discussion.

Dana, you either have a really amazing memory or you actually went and typed “ass crack” in the search field. One of those is something to be proud of; the other isn’t.

No worries – shoaling is a kind of salmoning anyway, if you think about it.

Oh, no, no it is not.
Unless you are a stickler about the actual word “asscrack” being used. I believe I was slightly more subtle in my complaint. (months ago. it was winter then. I remember because I couldn’t stop myself from wondering if his exposed areas were freezing or if his “fur coat” kept him warm. Thanks so much for reminding me of that experience).

Wow, I never realized how people really don’t forget an encounter with a stranger’s buttock cleavage. I guess it’s like most traumatic events that stick with you.
