Yes, exactly like that. But on a bike.

ParticipantMe: Guy riding up the Lyon Village / Lee Hwy corkscrew.
You: Guy walking up the trail. When I said “On your left.” in a polite tone, I didn’t expect you to assume the position against the cement retaining wall. I’m just this guy riding home on the Custis, not the po-po, and you are not a meat popsicle.

Ha! No, Cornholio doesn’t cover his face. He does the speed skater look.

ParticipantDear Park Police,
Did you need 4 cruisers parked partially on the MVT just feet from the road at the marina to arrest what looked like some kid probably caught with pot? It seemed a little bit of overkill, particularly putting the strawberry-hair colored girl in the backseat and then just standing around. On the bright side, I guess you guys are out there keeping a close out. (PS- There was an accident on the other side of Alexandria along the GWP right before Dyke Marsh, but you guys were too busy with this girl to be there too).

why on earth does that query return mother theresa on the first result page?
May 9, 2013 at 1:07 am #969513Bilsko
ParticipantFirst page? I don’t get pages of Google Image search results anymore…just a continuous flow of thumbnails…none of which have anything to do with Mother Theresa – although if it’s Diego Maradona against Brazil we’re talking about, then…[you’ll either get that joke or you won’t]

ParticipantTo the newb who hung on my wheel despite me intentionally slowing down/speeding up over several miles – I think I shall nickname you “Barnacle”.

I dunno, some days, when it’s windy and I’m wrecked, I’m pretty happy to be a barnacle… slow down, speed up, I’m just trying to survive my trip home…

Awww I get barnacled a lot more than I barnacle… does that make me a whale? Seems inappropriate for a skinny guy on a road bike.
