To the guy on a blacked out fixie who (1) shoaled me on Penn at 14th and then couldn’t muster the torque to accelerate through the light, crowding me in the intersection, and then (2) split the lane on the 15th cycletrack and unnerved at least six riders with unsafe passes, I hope you were as uncomfortable as you seemed when you had to wait with me at the next light. I meant what I said, I’m wishing flat tires and thrown chains on you, [anatomy].

Picture gets real big if you click on it. It’s Tim’s fault basically (the one eating popcorn). When you upload a photo to the forum, the software makes it a tiny little picture that is really easy not to notice. The big pics you see on the forum are from pics already on the web that are simply embedded. I like the big pictures better but we dare not ask Tim to change any of the settings (he has too much popcorn butter on his fingers).
Top Men have applied new settings.

You: The gents on the eastbound scooter on the PA Ave cycletrack about 0710. If you want a ride with a gasoline motor, please use the big wide lanes that are there for those type rides. The way you were weaving, it looked like the additional lane width would have been fully utilized. Thanks!
Motorpacing? I see this on occasion. Best was the guy on the motorized beach cruiser blowing by me up a bridge and all I saw as I crested it was a bunch of stopped cars and a pile of what used to be a beach cruiser straddling the bike lane and car lane.

ParticipantSuitland Rd westbound. Near the bottom of the hill in the cemetery.
You in one of those stupid Dodge Magnums. Decided to pull out making a left turn without looking left. Maybe your dreads got in your eyes or something.
Me, coming down the hill at 35 mph. I’m the one that yelled “F*&K YOU!” and I’m also the one that pulled the emergency brake maneuver and skidded my back tire at least 20 ft.
Now, I have a giant wear spot on my tire thank you very much!

ParticipantYou: girl on a motor scooter riding east bound on the W&OD this afternoon passing everyone without any warning.
Luckily your scooter sounded like a hair dryer on wheels as that was my only warning of your rapidly approaching stupidity!

ParticipantMe: guy you passed on the W&OD without signaling as I slowed down to turn, after secretly drafting me for a while.
You: guy in the “trail patrol” shirt.*
I think the shirt should have come with a bell. Just sayin’.
*If I misread that and your shirt said something like “tail patrol”, carry on

ParticipantMe: cyclist approaching the north entrance to the MVT tunnel under the Memorial Bridge.
Y’all: Two soldiers and a lady running across the GWMP, climbing over the high railing dividing the trail and roadway just north of the tunnel. and then not looking to see if there was anybody using the trail.
I guess if you are going to jaywalk the GWMP at rush hour, not looking when you get on the trail might have been the safest thing you did this morning.
Sorry if I startled you when I hollered “Track”

Me: WTF, guy?I saw a couple of dudebros running like that around GWU…basically their arms were in the sleeves with the rest of the shirt behind their neck. I guess that thin layer of fabric is just too hot when it’s 65 degrees out.

This wasn’t behind his neck, it was wrapped around his face and head. Completely covered head, arms in the sleeves.
