Motorpacing? I see this on occasion. Best was the guy on the motorized beach cruiser blowing by me up a bridge and all I saw as I crested it was a bunch of stopped cars and a pile of what used to be a beach cruiser straddling the bike lane and car lane.

Me: cyclist approaching the north entrance to the MVT tunnel under the Memorial Bridge.

Y’all: Two soldiers and a lady running across the GWMP, climbing over the high railing dividing the trail and roadway just north of the tunnel. and then not looking to see if there was anybody using the trail.

I guess if you are going to jaywalk the GWMP at rush hour, not looking when you get on the trail might have been the safest thing you did this morning.

I saw a couple of dudebros running like that around GWU…basically their arms were in the sleeves with the rest of the shirt behind their neck. I guess that thin layer of fabric is just too hot when it’s 65 degrees out.

This wasn’t behind his neck, it was wrapped around his face and head. Completely covered head, arms in the sleeves.
