You should give her a friendly wave every time, without a hint of offense or anger. That will really get to her.
Oh I have tried. I have tried. But no matter how nice I am, every time, double barreled fingers. Always the same. As if she is just painted there on the side of that bus stop.

Oh, she’s never going to be nice to you. And she may never stop with the fingers. But as long as you never break, and keep waving and smiling every time, you will win.

My husband (I think with the kids — Sydney pushing her own stroller with 3 dolls) saw you taking the pic, but was a little preoccupied and couldn’t say hi. So Hi from them.

Okay, okay, you had your fun. I get the whoosh, or at least that it is a whoosh.

dasgeh: He stopped and said hello. He even said there might be a new bicycle in your future?

Wasn’t fair – no hints were offered. I still don’t know WTF you’re talking about.

Look at the picture in rcannon’s original post.

Oh, good. And yes, put the deposit down today. Should have the bike in hand by June. Should I spoil the surprise on what we got?
PS. If you want to order a bike from the Netherlands from Rolling Orange, you have until tomorrow, I think. Shipping will be less because it will come to DC with at least one other bike.

Oh, you mean that TINY LITTLE PICTURE THAT IS REALLY EASY TO NOT NOTICE?
The lesson here, people, is that it’s conceivable that someone would flip off a cyclist every day. That’s what it’s like out there.April 25, 2013 at 8:12 pm #968289baiskeli

Oh, and this advice is still 100% reliable. She never will stop with the fingers. And you will win.

It’s also conceivable that not everyone reads the entirety of every post.

ParticipantPicture gets real big if you click on it. It’s Tim’s fault basically (the one eating popcorn). When you upload a photo to the forum, the software makes it a tiny little picture that is really easy not to notice. The big pics you see on the forum are from pics already on the web that are simply embedded. I like the big pictures better but we dare not ask Tim to change any of the settings (he has too much popcorn butter on his fingers).
I hope that girl has finally caught her bus; I am sick of seeing her.
