ParticipantME: Heading east this morning behind a slower cyclist in Bannecker Park waiting for you, heading west, to go by before passing.
YOU: Making a sweeping, high-speed turn onto the bridge over Four Mile Run.
ME: Hmm?
YOU: Crashing on the wooden bridge still moist from nightime rain.
ME: Stopping and shouting to you from just out of sight, “You all right?”
YOU: “Yeah.”
ME: “Slow down, those things are slippery.”

ParticipantShreve road and W&OD is the intersection that just keeps on giving for me. My evening commute last night. Coming East on the W&OD come around the intersection and I slow to an almost dead stop as a car from RT7 slows and stops but stops a bit back from where most cars do. I stand and roll into the intersection just as she changes her mind, and I use the term “mind” loosely, and rolls through the intersection. I grabbed brakes again and stopped 3 inches from the pass side door. She continued on with 0.00 notice of what just happened. And why you might ask? Well I can say I was quite close enough to see why but I bet you can venture a guess. Yup, She was looking at her F#C!#$&G PHONE!

I sometimes daydream about having a tennis ball or some other disposable object that I could throw at a car that would make a noise when it hits, but not actually damage the car, for situations just like this.

What’s the crime? Prove the tennis ball didn’t accidentally slip out of Steve O’s pannier at a high velocity.

Ah, you’re saying there would be no proof of a crime, which may be true. But it’s illegal to chuck something at a moving vehicle.

Including a bicycle and a body?

ParticipantI believe someone in the UK was throwing out magnets that said something to the effect of “you’re a shitty driver”. He’d chuck them at cars in this situation, they’d stick, and the driver would know later what happened (well, kinda)
